We're meant for more than just "holding it together."
Sometimes we take for granted that the day-to-day is a struggle. While we ultimately don't control what life throws our way, we can change how we respond to life's challenges. Whether we shut down, panic, numb out, or respond with calm and resilience isn't entirely under our conscious control - in fact, our nervous system may be predisposed to respond to our daily stressors as though they were lions and tigers. But it doesn't have to be this way.
